Terms governing use of the Gspace website, desktop application, and Chrome extension.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the end user license agreement between you and RICH MEDIA Informatikai Szolgáltató Bt. (Limited Partnership) ("RICH MEDIA", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the Gspace website, desktop application, Chrome extension (Gspace Link Forwarder), updates, and related support services.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Gspace, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use Gspace.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and using the relevant Google services in your jurisdiction. If you use Gspace on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Gspace Service

Gspace is a desktop-first application that helps you access and organize Google services, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, Chat, Tasks, and Gemini, in a unified desktop experience.

Gspace Link Forwarder is an optional Chrome extension that can open supported Google Docs, Drive, and Meet links in the desktop app. The extension requires the desktop app to be installed to complete that handoff.

Some features depend on Google accounts, Google services, a license or trial, and Google OAuth permissions for read-only access to selected Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Other contacts data used for badges, summaries, sender avatars, and notifications. The desktop app also embeds Google's own web interfaces in isolated sessions on your device.

Gspace is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google may change, limit, or withdraw APIs, web interfaces, or account access. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or restrictions imposed by Google or other third parties.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Gspace for your internal personal or business use.

You may not:

  • copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or distribute Gspace except as permitted by law
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it
  • use Gspace to violate law, infringe rights, or interfere with Google services or other users
  • bypass license, security, trial, or usage restrictions built into the product

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for your devices, your Google account access, and the activities that occur when using your Google accounts through Gspace. You must use appropriate security measures and keep your credentials secure.

Third-Party Services

Gspace depends on third-party services, including Google, Polar, Vercel, and Plunk (UsePlunk). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for outages, policy changes, or restrictions they impose.

Pricing, Licenses, and Purchases

Gspace currently offers:

  • Free: one Google account, no time limit
  • Trial: when you add a second Google account without a Pro license, a 14-day Pro trial starts
  • Pro: a one-time payment of $14.99 USD, plus applicable VAT or similar taxes, for unlimited Google accounts
  • Enterprise: custom volume or team licensing. Contact us at richard@gspaceapp.com. Enterprise pricing is quoted separately and is not the Pro price

A Pro license may be activated on up to 3 devices at a time. You can deactivate a device from the app or Polar customer portal and activate another.

Paid purchases are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record. Invoicing, payment processing, VAT or sales tax handling, and approved refunds are generally processed under Polar's checkout terms and policies.

Your contract with RICH MEDIA under these Terms is separate from Polar's role in the payment transaction. License activation, validation, trial dates, and device activations may rely on Polar customer and license records.

We may change features, plans, or pricing on a prospective basis. A price change does not retroactively alter a Pro license you already paid for, except where required by law.

Refund Policy

For Pro purchases, we currently offer a voluntary 30-day refund window from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact richard@gspaceapp.com with your purchase details within 30 days.

We may deny refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, repeated refund requests, or material violation of these Terms. Enterprise or volume licensing purchases may be subject to separate written terms and are not automatically covered by the 30-day voluntary refund window unless agreed in writing.

Any approved refund is processed through Polar as merchant of record. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law, including mandatory withdrawal rights for digital content where they apply and have not been validly waived.

Updates and Availability

We may release updates, patches, new features, or other changes to Gspace at any time. Some features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app, website, extension, or any integration.

Desktop builds distributed from our website or GitHub may update through our updater. Builds installed from the Microsoft Store receive updates through Microsoft Store, not through our GitHub updater.

Intellectual Property

Gspace, including its software, branding, visual design, text, and original functionality, is owned by RICH MEDIA or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Google marks remain the property of Google.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gspace is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that Gspace will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or workflow, or continuously available with every third-party integration.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RICH MEDIA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to Gspace.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to Gspace will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the specific paid license giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to paid or unpaid features if you violate these Terms, misuse the product, or if continued provision of the service becomes unlawful or impracticable. Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends. You may stop using Gspace and uninstall it at any time.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute between you and RICH MEDIA relating to the use of Gspace, are governed by the laws of Hungary, including the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013), without regard to conflict of law principles.

The courts of Budapest, Hungary will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your place of residence.

Purchase transactions processed by Polar may also be subject to Polar's own terms and governing law for payment-related matters.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the last updated date. Your continued use of Gspace after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
